Liberal Democrats standing for election to Runnymede Borough Council have produced a Manifesto for Runnymede. It sets out what you can expect from your future Lib Dem Councillors, including: more regular updates on the workings of the Council, a refresh for the Council web site, active consultation over issues that affect local communities and high standards of integrity to help restore trust in grass roots government, as well as stating their position on the issues that affect Runnymede today.

Alan Whiteley, Chair of Runnymede & Weybridge Lib Dems and a candidate in the 2010 local election, introducing the document said: "The Liberal Democrats offer the only chance to break out of the old one-party system in Runnymede Borough, to provide real representation for all residents, and ensure everyone can get the most out of their Council.
